All five counties in the region continue to have a jobless rate below the statewide average.

INDIANAPOLIS - Five southeastern Indiana counties saw their unemployment rate drop in September.
This week, the Indiana Department of Workforce Development released county unemployment data, following last week's statewide data that showed Indiana's jobless rate stood at 4.0 in September.
Jobless rates for Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, and Switzerland counties came in below the statewide average.
Ohio County had the lowest jobless rate among the five counties at 2.5 percent.
Switzerland County's unemployment rate was the highest in the region at 3.5 percent.
