Firefighters Respond To Couch Fire At Three Mile Ridge, Kittens Saved

The fire broke out early Sunday morning.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A piece of furniture was lost, but some fur-babies were saved during an early morning fire in Lawrenceburg. 

Lawrenceburg Fire Department responded to the fire at Three Mile Ridge on Sunday around 4:18 a.m.

Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters found a couch well involved in fire. 

Crews were able to rescue kittens before cutting off the flow path by closing the open front door. No injuries were reported. 

Assisting at the scene was Greendale Fire Department, Lawrenceburg EMS, and Lawrenceburg Police.
