Faith Over Fear 5K Benefits Karsen E. Cook Scholarship Fund

The event happens this Saturday in Vevay.

(Vevay, Ind.) – An upcoming 5K will honor the memory of Karsen Cook and support local high school seniors.

The Faith Over Fear 5K happens this Saturday, September 7 in Vevay.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Karsen E. Cook Scholarship Fund. Cook was 23-year-old when she passed away from colon cancer in September 2020.

The Cook Scholarship is awarded to local high school seniors who have been affected by cancer in some way in their lives.

Registration ends on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Cost to enter the 5K is $5.

Donations will also be accepted.
