(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Just in time for Halloween, visitors to Southeast Indiana will find several frighteningly fun events on the calendar this month. From a spine-tingling haunted house in Aurora to Halloween outings the entire family will enjoy, the area will offer Halloween fun for all ages in the coming weeks.

Take a haywagon ride to the pumpkin patch at Greystone Farm every weekend in October. In addition to pumpkin-picking, visitors can enjoy visiting with farm animals and shopping for farm-fresh goods at this family-owned farm in Lawrenceburg.

Grab a group of grown-ups and head for Main Street Aurora’s HalloWINE event on October 28, where you can shop and eat your way around the historic downtown district.

Take a walk on the fearful side with a trip to the Lost Soul Asylum, a terrifying haunted experience taking place at the Aurora Fire House on Friday and Saturday nights through the end of October.

Finally, enjoy family-friendly Halloween fun during celebrations in both Aurora and Lawrenceburg – with plenty of treats on the menu! The Aurora Lions Club Halloween Parade & Costume Contest will take place October 25, while Downtown Lawrenceburg’s Halloween Costume Contest & Movie Night (featuring The Nightmare Before Christmas) will be October 29. Trick-or-Treat in both communities will be on October 31 from 6-8pm.
