(St. Leon, Ind.) – The East Central High School bands hope you can give them a lift.

The ECHS Department of Bands and Band Boosters have set a $55,000 fundraising goal to purchase some new modes of transportation for their members and their instruments and equipment.

The bands are asking alumni, friends, fans and corporate sponsors to support the new fundraising campaign.

“ECHS is an accomplished, respected, top-tier Department of Bands, with a robust heritage of excellence spanning generations.  The EC Marching Trojans compete with the biggest and best marching arts ensembles in the world as a perennial Bands of America competitor, but have exceeded their current transportation/logistical capabilities to get instruments, props, supplies and uniforms to and from competitions and appearances,” according to a news release.

Donations can be made online at www.ECTrojanBands.com. Starting at $20, gifts and recognitions are given at every level of giving.
