Early voting kicks off at county courthouses across Indiana for the state’s primary election.
Most elections in the Hoosier state are only in cities and towns, where Democratic and Republican voters are nominating general election candidates for mayor, council, and clerk-treasurer. So, if you live in an unincorporated area, you probably don’t have an election to participate in this year.

Republican voters in the City of Harrison, Ohio have to decide a contested mayoral primary between incumbent mayor Bill Neyer and councilwoman Cindy Abrams.
Ballots can be cast at designated early-voting centers on weekdays and select weekends through Monday, May 6. You should check with your county clerk of courts or board of elections for specific early voting dates and hours.
In Ohio, Hamilton County voters can engage in early voting at the Hamilton County Board of Elections office.
Primary election day in both Indiana and Ohio is Tuesday, May 7. The 2019 general election will happen Tuesday, November 5.
