Drug Take Back Day October 27

Local law enforcement agencies from Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky are partnering with the DEA to dispose of your unwanted, unused and expired prescription drugs.

(Versailles, Ind.) – Local law enforcement agencies are partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for a Drug Take Back event.

The 16th nationwide Prescription Take Back initiative happens Saturday, October 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Collection sites will be set up nationwide for expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs which will be properly disposed of without threat to the environment. The program is for liquid and pill medications.

Several collection sites will be set up in the tri-state area this Saturday including:

  • Lawrenceburg Police at the Lawrenceburg Kroger, 880 W. Eads Parkway
  • Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, 3780 Shady Lane, North Bend, OH
  • Boone County Sheriff’s Office, 3000 Conrad Lane, Burlington, KY
  • Boone County Sheriff’s Office at Union City Building, 1843 Mount Zion Road, Union, KY
  • Green Township Police Department, 6303 Harrison Ave, Cincinnati, OH
  • Florence Police Department, 8100 Ewing Blvd., Florence, KY
  • Florence Police Department at Kroger Florence, 7685 Mall Road, Florence, KY
  • Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force at Erlanger Police Department, 505 Commonwealth Ave., Erlanger
  • Indiana State Police Versailles Post, 902 South Adams Street, Versailles, IN
