(Napoleon, Ind.) - The Napoleon State Bank announced that demolition has begun on the old Burger Chef building on Lincoln Street in Greensburg, IN.  The bank has future plans to build a new branch on the lot that will be an extension of the current Greensburg Branch on Westridge Parkway and will offer conveniences to customers in the area.

“The demolition of the old Burger Chef building is the first visual sign the beginning of this project. Our decision to open a second location in the Greensburg market is an important step towards meeting the needs of our growing customer base in that area,” Mark Comer, CEO/President said. “The new Lincoln Street location will offer more convenience to customers in a different part of town and will provide opportunities for growth for our locally owned community bank.”

The new branch, pending regulatory approval, will be the company’s fifth location. The current plan is for construction to begin the latter half of 2018. The Napoleon State Bank will also be opening a sixth location in Westport in March of 2019.
