(Greensburg, Ind.) - A Decatur County man is facing charges after accusations that he intentionally caused damage to a judge's vehicle.

Jimmy L. Colson, 62, of Flat Rock, was charged last week with Intimidation (Level 5 Felony) and Criminal Mischief (Class B Misdemeanor).

The charges stem from an incident that allegedly occurred on August 19 at a parking lot in Greensburg where county employees typically park. A Decatur County judge reported to police that his vehicle was not operating properly and then observed that someone had placed spray foam insulation in the tail pipe of his truck.

Greensburg Police were able to identify a suspect after reviewing surveillance camera footage of the incident.

The case was referred to Indiana State Police - Versailles Post due to a conflict of interest. After further investigation and interviews, Colson was arrested.

Colson made his initial appearance in court last week. He is scheduled for a jury trial on January 17.
