Death Investigation Underway After Homicide in Erlanger

One person was killed Tuesday following a family dispute.

(Erlanger, Ky.) - An investigation is underway after one person was killed following a dispute between family members. 

Erlanger and Independence officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Ridgewood Drive on Tuesday afternoon for an active assault. 

Upon arrival, the suspect Wyatt Testerman, was located outside of a residence by a responding Independence officer. 

Testerman, 18, was detained immediately and without incident. 

The victim, Cheri Oliver, was located inside the residence with head trauma, and was transported to UC Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. 

Oliver was later pronounced deceased. 

Testerman has been charged with Murder and is held at the Kenton County Detention Center.
