(Dearborn County, IN) - Dearborn County is currently experiencing flooding from the Ohio River. The river is predicted to crest 60 feet on Monday. This will cause numerous roadways to close. This list contains the roadways we anticipate being closed.
SR 56 in Aurora and between Aurora and Ohio County - Detour of State Route 262
US 50 in Greendale – Detour of Oberting Road

State Route 56 is closed at 5th St in Aurora
If you do come across a flooded roadway that is not closed, you are encouraged to report it to authorities at (812) 537-3431. As always you are reminded to “Turn Around Don’t Drown” when you are driving and encounter a flooded roadway.
