Dearborn County Commissioners To Hold Emergency Meeting

The meeting has been called for today, March 19, at 1:30 PM.

(Dearborn Co., Ind.) - Dearborn County Board of Commissioners have called for an Emergency Meeting to discuss further steps regarding the novel coronavirus. 

In the nature of this emergency, COVID-19 has been declared an emergency at the Federal, State, and County levels of government across the country. 

This meeting has been called to discuss and implement additional safety measures in Dearborn County. 

Today's meeting will be held in the Henry Dearborn Meeting Room on the 1st floor of the Dearborn County Courthouse at 1:30 PM. 

The notice calling the meeting reads: 

"If additional measures are not put in place, this pandemic may result in actual or threatened injury to person or property, or actual or threatened disruption of governmental activity under the jurisdiction of the Dearborn County, Indiana Board of Commissioners; therefore, an Emergency Meeting has been called as permitted by Indiana Code § 5-14-1.5-5(d)."
