Dearborn Co. Mask Coalition Helps County Courthouse Prepare To Reopen

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Mask Coalition is helping local courthouses prepare to reopen.

This week, the coalition donated 1,500 face masks to the Dearborn County Courthouse and another 500 masks to the Ohio County Courthouse. 

The Dearborn County Mask Coalition has scheduled three future county-wide mask distributions to the public.

The next event takes place Sunday, May 3 from noon to 2:00 PM at Dearborn Savings Bank in Lawrenceburg. Masks will be provided to Dearborn County residents free of charge. However, a free will donation of $1 is suggested.

Face masks will also be available to Dearborn County residents on Thursday, May 7 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Dearborn Adult Center on Tate Street; Aurora Lion’s Club Parking Lot; and Dillsboro Elementary. A third distribution will take place Saturday, May 9 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the following locations: Bright Christian Church; Moores Hill Church of Christ; and Dearborn Savings Bank in Lawrenceburg.

The masks being provided are the paper surgical masks, which can be worn alone or underneath a cloth mask for extra protection.
