Dearborn Co. Fall Property Tax Collection Deadline Rapidly Approaching

There are several ways to pay property tax installments.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The deadline to pay property tax bills is nearing for Dearborn County residents. 

Dearborn County Treasurer Barb Scherzinger reminds property owners that the fall property tax collection deadline is Monday, November 13. 

You may pay your property tax in one of the following ways:

  • In person at the Treasurer’s Office Monday – Friday from 8:30 – 4:30.
  • By mail postmarked by November 13th, 2023 to Dearborn Co. Treasurer, 165 Mary St. Lawrenceburg, IN 47025. Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your receipt returned.
  • After office hours by using our GREEN DROP-BOX outside the Main Entrance doors of the County Administration Building by November 13th, 2023. Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your receipt returned. Please, do not leave cash.
  • By credit card by visiting the county website at www.govtechtaxpro.com. Choose Property tax, select state and county, use name or parcel number, select what parcels you want to pay, select method of payment. Pay with a credit card, a 2.5% service fee will apply; pay with E-Check a $2.00 service fee will apply. Follow the rest prompts to finish. Or if you lost or misplaced your bill; you can use website www.lowtaxinfo.com to VIEW, PRINT your bill and PAY your taxes.

Property Tax Bills were mailed on or about March 20th, 2023. If you are responsible for paying property tax and did not receive your statement(s), please contact our office immediately at 812-537-8811. You may also visit website www.lowtaxinfo.com for tax info, print your bill and pay your taxes from this website; or you may use the county’s website www.dearborncounty.org to get information and pay your taxes; as well as other useful information about other county departments.

As a reminder, Tuesday November 7th, 2023 is Election Day; and Friday November 10th, 2023 is Veterans Day, all County Offices will be CLOSED on these days.
