The Boone County Sheriff's Office has identified Nicholas Morales, 50, of Walton, as the victim of the off-road vehicle accident Thursday night in Verona.

Investigators say a neighbor located Morales face down in a creek at a farm located on Miller Owens Road. The ATV was on top of him.

Initial indications are that Morales crossed the creek and started up a steep embankment when the vehicle rolled over on him trapping him in the creek, the sheriff's office stated.
