(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Health Department has released its latest COVID-19 Morbidity and Mortality Report.
According to the report, 732 county residents were tested for COVID-19 between January 4-10, up from 569 a week prior.
Of the tests performed, 357 came back negative while 375 were positive.
Dearborn County remains in red status on the Indiana State Department of Health’s color-coded map with a 7-day all tests positivity rate of 15.69 percent, down from 18.13 percent a week prior week. Dearborn County isn't alone as approximately half of the state's 92 counties are in red status.
According to the DCHD, 123 individuals age 51-80 tested positive for the virus over the past seven days, the most of any age group.
There was one COVID-19 related death reported in the county between January 4-10.
To date, Dearborn County has reported 4,340 positive cases, 18,836 tests, and 41 deaths.
