DCHD Releases Morbidity & Mortality Report For Feb. 22-28

Dearborn County has moved to yellow status for COVID-19 spread.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Health Department has released its latest COVID-19 Morbidity and Morality Report.

According to the report, 294 county residents were tested for COVID-19 between February 22-28, up from 233 a week prior.

Of the tests performed, 213 came back negative while 81 were positive.

Dearborn County has moved to yellow status on the Indiana State Department of Health’s color-coded map with a 7-day all tests positivity rate of 7.33 percent, down from 9.33 percent a week ago.

According to the DCHD, 29 individuals age 18 and younger tested positive for the virus over the past seven days, the most of any age group.

The county has reported one COVID-19 related death over the past seven days. 

To date, Dearborn County has reported 5,474 positive cases, 21,757 tests, and 67 deaths, including 15 from outside county facilities.
