UPDATE: I-74 Clear After Crash Involving Overturned Truck

Both directions of I-74 were brought to a standstill Thursday morning.

Update published at 9:36 a.m.:

Traffic on Interstate 74 is moving both eastbound and westbound after a truck crash littered the highway with debris Thursday morning.

All lanes heading eastbound were open at around 9:30 a.m. Only the left lane of the westbound side it still closed.

A truck overturned on I-74 near Miamitown at about 6:00 a.m. the truck lost its load and also spilled fuel. At least one person was believed to have been injured in the wreck.

(Hamilton County, Oh.) - A crash involving an overturned truck put the brakes on the morning commute on Interstate 74 in western Hamilton County Thursday morning.

The wreck was reported just after 6:00 a.m. on I-74 westbound near the Miamitown/State Route 128 exit. Debris from the crash also forced the closure of the westbound lanes. 

The resulting backup on I-74 eastbound extended all the way to Dry Fork Road in Harrison.

Eyewitnesses to the crash scene tell Eagle Country 99.3 that at least one person was being put into an ambulance.
