Cold Weather Advisory Issued for Tri-State; More Snow Expected Friday

Wind chills are expected to be below freezing overnight.

(Wilmington, Oh.) – Make sure to bundle up the rest of this week.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Cold Weather Advisory from midnight to 9 AM Thursday.

Very cold wind chills as low as 5 to 12 below zero are expected throughout the tri-state area. The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken.  

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside.

Pets should be kept indoors as much as possible.

The forecast for the rest of the week can be viewed below. 

Snow is forecast Friday into Friday night. Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches will be possible. With temperatures remaining below freezing, untreated surfaces will become slick. The snow will affect the afternoon and evening commutes.
