Closure Planned on State Road 56 in Switzerland County

The closure is expected to begin on or after Tuesday, October 1.

(Switzerland County, Ind.) – A box culvert replacement project is scheduled to start next week in Switzerland County.

State Road 56 is expected to close on or after Tuesday, October 1.

The closure will take place between Patton Hollow Road and Spring Branch Road and will last until late November.

Crews will begin to place signage in the area prior to the start of construction.

During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route which follows U.S. 421 to State Road 250 to State Road 129.
