(Aurora, Ind.) - Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Paul H. Rohe Company is scheduled to close State Road 350 just west of U.S. 50 on or after Monday, July 7, to complete resurfacing work in Aurora.
The closure will take place between U.S. 50 and the South Hogan Creek bridge. Work includes resurfacing the S.R. 350 approach to U.S. 50 as well as pedestrian facility installation work.
S.R. 350 is expected to reopen in early August, weather permitting. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route which follows U.S. 50 to S.R. 129.
This closure is part of the current pavement rehabilitation project taking place on U.S. 50 in Aurora. Additional work will take place on U.S. 50 following the S.R. 350 closure. INDOT will continue to provide information and updates as work progresses.
This work is part of a $8.7 million contract awarded Paul H. Rohe in February 2025. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
