City of Lawrenceburg Opens Emergency Cooling Center

Daytime highs will be in the 90's all week.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Due to expected high heat this week, the City of Lawrenceburg is providing an Emergency Cooling Center.

Individuals or families in need will have access to a monitored air-conditioned shelter, cots, blankets and water.

The cooling center is open now through Friday, August 30 at 5:00 p.m. at the Boy Scout Cabin at 461 West High Street.

There is limited parking available at the Boy Scout Cabin.
