City of Aurora Opens 2024 Facade Improvement Matching Grant Program

Applications are available online or at the Main Street Aurora office.

(Aurora, Ind.) - The City of Aurora has announced the continuance of the Facade Improvement Matching Grant (FIMG) Program. 

The Façade Improvement Matching Grant Program is administered and awarded by the City of Aurora with this year’s objective directed at business properties only within the Aurora City Limits.

The program, which was launched in 2016, offers eligible projects up to $5,000 and requires a matching dollar-for-dollar expenditure. 

A list of eligible and ineligible activities can be found, along with the application, at https://aurora.in.us/facade-improvement-program/ or at the Main Street Aurora Office, 231 Main Street. 

Applications and fees will be accepted, in their entirety, in the Aurora Clerk Treasurer’s office, Attn: Benny Turner, until Friday March 29 at 4:00 p.m.

The Design Review committee will meet to review applications on Wednesday, April 3 at 1:00 p.m. and make award recommendations to Aurora City Council on Monday, April 8 at 7:00 p.m.
