(Dillsboro, Ind.) - The Board of Directors for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southeastern Indiana (CAC of SEI) has announced the following new hires and appointments at their regional office located in Dillsboro.

Stephanie Back has been promoted to Executive Director following the resignation of the center’s former administrator. She has been with the CAC since it opened in September 2009 as a Forensic Interviewer and has helped over 2,280 children.

Kelly Bridges has been promoted to Associate Director, a newly created leadership role. She has been employed as a Forensic Interviewer for 5 years and will now also be responsible for helping manage the daily operations of this growing agency. To date, Kelly has interviewed over 1,270 children.

Both women will retain their duties as forensic interviewers in addition to the extra responsibilities of their new leadership positions.

Christina (Tina) Good has been hired as the CAC’s newest Forensic Interviewer. Tina comes to the center with valuable experience in the child protection field as she was previously employed with the Indiana Department of Child Services in Ripley County for the past 2.5 years. She successfully completed her initial training in Springfield, Illinois last month.

“We are very excited to be growing and adding to our staff,” said CAC Board President Tom Baxter. In addition to Tina and the new leadership team, Cindi Wagner has been with the center for over 3 years as a Child & Family Advocate.  “They all provide a great blend of education and knowledge with a strong passion for the best service possible to the children of our region,” added Baxter.

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Southeastern Indiana (CAC of SEI) is a nonprofit corporation created in 2009 to minimize the trauma suffered by alleged victims of child abuse in a neutral and comfortable setting. The center is specifically designed to use a multidisciplinary team approach which facilitates the prevention, detection, investigation and treatment of child abuse and neglect. Thus far, the center has served over 3,600 children from more than 32 different counties and multiple states.
