Charlie White Trial Starts Today

Charlie White

(Indianapolis, Ind.) - The political life of Indiana Secretary of State Charlie White is on the line starting today in a Noblesville courtroom. 

 

White's trial is opening on seven felony charges, including voter fraud. 

 

The underlying issue is whether he broke the law when he used his ex-wife's address to register to vote for the 2010 election. 

 

White beat Democrat Vop Osili in the Secretary of State race that fall by more than 300,000 votes, but will be kicked out of office if convicted.
