Casino Dealer Accused Of Cheating At Blackjack, Poker

A local casino employee is facing charges after he allegedly gave players an advantage over the house.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A table game dealer at Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg is facing criminal charges after he was allegedly caught cheating.

Indiana Gaming Commission agents say Christopher Bayne revealed his hands to players at a three-card poker game and blackjack in April. Bayne, who was a dealer at the riverboat casino since 2006, was also allegedly telling the gamblers how to wager their hands by giving them hand signals.

When questioned, Bayne denied having any collusion or direct payback from any of the players to whom he was giving an advantage.

Bayne, 43, of Burlington, Ky., was arrested this week on two counts of Cheating at a Gambling Game (level 6 felony).
