Brookville Man Facing Multiple Charges After Guns, Drugs Seized

(Brookville, Ind.) – A Brookville man is facing multiple charges after drugs and guns were seized from his home.

Kevin Pflum, 44, was arrested last week for Operating a Vehicle as a Habitual Traffic Violator (Level 6 Felony). According to a news release from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Pflum was found unconscious and slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle at a resident on Edgerton Street in Laurel last Monday.

Deputies say Pflum was found in possession of a substance suspected to be methamphetamine, as well as drug paraphernalia.

Last Thursday, deputies with the assistance from Brookville Police, served a search warrant for Pflum's residence on Fairfield Avenue. During the search, deputies located additional quantity of methamphetamine, other drugs and drug paraphernalia, and 17 guns.

Pflum is facing charges of Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 4 Felony), Dealing Marijuana (Level 5 Felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Level 6 Felony), Possession of Marijuana (Class A Misdemeanor), and Possession of Paraphernalia (Class C Misdemeanor).

He posted bond of $40,005 and is currently awaiting his initial appearance in court.

If convicted of a level 4 felony, Pflum could face up to 12 years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines.
