(Boone County, Ky.) – With more snow in the forecast Friday, Boone County Public Works is focusing on ensuring equipment is ready to roll again.
Crews will report at noon Friday and primary routes will be treated ahead of the expected snowfall.
According to Boone County officials, crews are prepared to work another 16-hour shift to ensure roads stay passable into the weekend.
Crews covered 14,100 miles from Friday, January 3 to Wednesday, January 8 and used 2,173 tons of salt.
