Bicyclist Seriously Injured In Hit & Skip Accident In Whitewater Township

The accident happened Wednesday night along State Route 128.

(Whitewater Township, Oh.) – A North Bend man was seriously injured in a hit and skip crash on Wednesday night.

Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Neil tells Eagle Country 99.3 that a semi-truck struck a bicyclist and then fled the scene in the 4900 block of State Route 128 around 8:40 p.m.

Ron E. Miller, 44, was on the shoulder of the road when the unknown make and model semi-truck passed Miller and struck him on his left side.

Miller sustained serious injuries and was flown to UC Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.

Investigators say the semi-truck left the scene without stopping and will likely have damage to its right front wheel and side.
