Aurora Farmers Fair Begins Wednesday

(Aurora, Ind.) - Festival fun arrives on the streets of downtown Aurora, Indiana this week as the city hosts the Aurora Farmers Fair, an annual event featuring food, fun, and free entertainment in this Southeast Indiana community located along the Ohio River.

WHEN: Wed., Oct. 2 – Late Sat., Oct. 5 (Parade begins at 10am Saturday)

WHERE: Downtown Aurora, Indiana

In addition to a carnival atmosphere, visitors will enjoy free live music on multiple stages throughout the town. Other highlights include live entertainment, unusual contests, rides and games, an exhibit hall, large street parade on Saturday morning, and more.
The Farmers Fair first began as an agricultural show in 1908 and has entertained generations of residents and visitors each fall, many of whom return year after year as an annual tradition.

On Saturday, visitors are invited to come out early for the annual Farmers Fair parade, which will start at 10:00 a.m. and run approximately two hours. In addition to a number of floats and decorated entries, the event will showcase marching bands from throughout the area. 

The Aurora Farmers Fair is organized by the Aurora Lions’ Club and the Aurora Farmers Fair Association in partnership with the City of Aurora.
