(Aurora, IN) - Aurora Elementary School announced the renewal of their STEM Certification from the Indiana Department of Education. The renewal will keep the schools STEM certified for another five years.

This also ensures that that all South Dearborn elementary schools remain STEM certified.

This distinction recognizes their ongoing commitment to providing students with innovative, hands-on learning experiences in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The STEM Certification also highlights their dedication to project-based learning, community partnerships, student-centered classrooms, and meaningful integration of STEM across all areas of learning.

AES will be one of only nine schools statewide to receive recertification this year and is proud to be part of a growing network of over 100 STEM Certified schools across Indiana.
