(Hebron, Ky.) – A Conner High School student has been arrested for allegedly making a threat towards a teacher.
Boone County Sheriff’s deputies received two separate reports on Tuesday night about a student who stated he wanted to kill his teacher.
Deputies promptly investigated the reports and ultimately took a 14-year-old male suspect into custody.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect used a social media application to vaguely mention a school shooting but was more specific in saying “I’m bringing a knife to school” and “Its telling me to kill my teacher”.
Deputies made contact with the student at his home, where he confessed to making the threats during a conversation with a friend.
The juvenile is charged with Terroristic Threatening 2nd Degree and is lodged at the Campbell County Juvenile Detention Center.
