Over the past two decades, Greendale has become a leader in volunteer-lead improvements,

(Greendale, Ind.) – America in Bloom (AIB) is proud to recognize the City of Greendale, Indiana, for its remarkable 20 years of participation in the AIB program. Over the past two decades, Greendale has become a leader in volunteer-lead improvements, consistently enhancing the quality of life for its residents through thoughtful and impactful initiatives.

Greendale has excelled in various categories, earning national recognition for its achievements in Urban Forestry, Landscaping, Environmental Efforts, Floral Display, Heritage Preservation, Overall Impression, and Community Vitality. Their commitment to sustainability and community beautification sets a high standard for small towns across the nation. As an award winner in these categories, Greendale continues to demonstrate innovation and dedication, showing how even small communities can make a significant difference.

"Greendale has always been a shining example of what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared vision for improvement," said AIB President, Rod Barnes. "Their leadership in urban forestry, landscaping, floral displays and environmental efforts has not only beautified their town but also enhanced the well-being of residents and the local ecosystem."
