Adoptive Parents Bloggers Highlight Foster Parenting Event May 18

Are you thinking of becoming a foster parent? You may want to put this event on your calendar.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Indiana Department of Child Services is hosting a foster parent appreciation and recruitment event in Lawrenceburg for those interested in becoming foster parents, or who are currently foster parents.

Mike and Kristin Berry from the blog Confessions of an Adoptive Parent will be attending to speak on their experiences and answer any questions that attendees might have.

The event will be held at Agner Hall in Lawrenceburg on May 18, 2019 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Those interested in attending should RSVP to Michell Smoot at michelle.smoot@dcs.in.gov by May 1.

The event will also have a catered meal, door prizes, and activities for the kids.
