Addyston Police Chief Suspended Without Pay

(Addyston, Oh.) - The Mayor of Addyston has suspended Police Chief Dorian La Course effective immediately.

La Course is being suspended without pay for several alleged violations including buying and selling weapons without village council consent.

He is also accused of buying armor piercing bullets which are illegal in Ohio.

Mayor Lisa Mear said in a letter that La Course may have forged documents to complete the transactions and kept money that was supposed to go to the village.

La Course is expected to have a hearing before village council on Monday.
