UPDATE: I-74 Eastbound Reopens Near U.S. 52 Following Accident

Traffic is still slow in the area due to a lengthy backup.

All lanes have reopened. 

Motorists should expect further delays while backed up traffic is alleviated.

(West Harrison, Ind.) – Interstate 74 eastbound is closed near West Harrison.

INDOT Southeast reported a crash near mile marker 169 near the U.S. 52 exit around 8:30 a.m.

At least one person was reportedly injured in the crash.

Motorists are advised to use an alternative route, if possible.

No other information has been provided at this time.
