(Dearborn County, Ind.) - Multiple 911 calls led police to the arrest of a Dayton man who was driving under the influence.

Dearborn County Communications dispatched officers to the area of westbound I-74 in West Harrison around 4:30 p.m. on October 28. Dispatchers received multiple 911 calls about a yellow semi-truck that was traveling all over the road, striking multiple construction barrels and nearly striking multiple vehicles.

The driver, Anvar D. Mamedov, 32, of Dayton, Ohio, had stopped the truck near the 154 mile marker. That's where Indiana State Police detained Mamedov. Troopers say other semi drivers who had witnessed Mamedov's reckless driving had pulled in front of his semi and forced him to stop in the roadway.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Mamedov appeared to have blood shot eyes. During a search of his truck, troopers allegedly found a burnt plastic bottle, a burnt piece of aluminum foil. A field sobriety test was administered and Mamedov was found to have slowed speech, bloodshot eyes and unsteady balance.

He was transported to the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center where jailers allegedly found a synthetic marijuana located in his underwear.

Mamedov is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class A misdemeanor), Possession of Marijuana (Class B misdemeanor), Operating while Intoxicated (Class C misdemeanor), Operating while Intoxicated Endangerment (Class A misdemeanor), Operating while Intoxicated (Class C misdemeanor), Operating while Intoxicated (Schedule I or II) (Class C misdemeanor) and Possession of Paraphernalia (Class C misdemeanor).

He is held in Dearborn County Jail on $75,000 cash bond and $100,000 surety.
