This reward has been offered for any information leading to an arrest in the unsolved murder investigation of Bill and Peggy Stephenson.

(Boone County, Ky.) - A $50,000 reward has been offered for any information leading to an arrest in the unsolved murder investigation of Bill and Peggy Stephenson.

On May 29, 2011, Bill and Peggy Stephenson were found murdered in their home on Ridge Edge Court. This case remains active, and the Boone County Sheriff's Office is vigilant in the pursuit of justice for the Stephenson family.

Last month, Detective Coy Cox was interviewed for a true crime podcast, Just the Tip-sters, that focuses on unsolved murders. During Episode 147 Smells Like A Gruesome Puzzle - The Stephenson Murders, Detective Cox talked about the Stephenson's case that happened over 9 years ago.

Through this interview, a newfound buzz and interest was generated for the case. Shortly after the episode aired, detectives began receiving tips and information "unique and contains details which were never released to the public." These tips are now being followed up on.

The family has hopes that this reward will motivate other individuals to come forward with information that could be critical to solving the murder of Bill and Peggy Stephenson.
