Sgt. Keith, a Batesville High School graduate, made the ultimate sacrifice in Baghdad, Iraq in 2003 while serving in the 2-235th Infantry, Company D.

The annual race in his name helps keep his legacy alive.

“I’ve been honored to help,” said Sarah Pulskamp, a volunteer of the Sgt. Chad Keith 5K. “Such a little thing in the scope of what the family lost in Chad’s sacrifice. I’m happy to help keep his legacy alive.”
