Report: Show "Nashville" Cost Taxpayers $45-Million

The show's sixth and final season comes to an end Thursday.

(Nashville, TN) - A new report says the show "Nashville" cost Tennessee taxpayers millions of dollars. 

It was released by the non-profit research group, the Beacon Center.  The report called out the show for its bad ratings and for costing 45-million dollars in taxpayer incentives. 

It also said "Nashville" has revived the largest individual Entertainment Commission grants of any project in state history.  

The show's sixth and final season comes to a end tonight.
