(Las Vegas, NV) -- Jason Aldean is the newest Academy of County Music Entertainer of the Year.
Last night's win came after a very tough year for Aldean, who was on stage during the deadly attack on the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas last October. He and several other artists paid tribute to the shooting victims at the start of the awards show.
Chris Stapleton won Male Vocalist of the Year, Miranda Lambert won Female Vocalist of the Year, Brothers Osborne Won Vocal Duo of the Year and Old Dominion won Vocal Group of the Year.
