Big Machine Label Group Sells For $300M

One of Nashville's biggest labels has a new owner.

(Nashville, TN)  --  Big Machine Label Group has a new owner. 

Talent Manager Scooter Braun bought the record label for $300 million, according to the "Wall Street Journal." 

Big Machine launched in 2005 and went on to sign artists like Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, Thomas Rhett and Florida Georgia Line. 

Scott Borchetta will reportedly keep his role as president and CEO of the label.
