Switz. Co. Seeking New Boys Varsity Basketball Head Coach

Travis Wrightsman is off to Jennings County after five seasons at Switz. Co.

(Vevay, Ind.) - Switzerland County High School is searching for a new boys varsity basketball head coach.

After five seasons in Vevay, Travis Wrightsman has left the program to become the head coach of the Jennings County boys varsity basketball team.

In his five seasons at Switzerland County, Wrightsman led the Pacers to a 50-73 record with a sectional title during the 2023-24 season.

Wrightsman previously coached at South Ripley for 10 seasons, winning three sectional titles in that span.

He replaces Michael McBride at Jennings County. The Panthers went 12-15 with a sectional championship in McBride's only season as head coach. He has since moved on to take the head coaching job at Floyd Central.
