(Vevay, Ind.) - Brandon Turner will be the next head coach to lead the Switzerland County High School boys varsity basketball program.

Turner fills the coaching vacancy left by Travis Wrightsman, who spent the last five seasons at Switzerland County before making the jump to Jennings County

In his five seasons in Vevay, Wrightsman led the Pacers to a 50-73 record with a sectional title during the 2023-24 season.

Turner comes to Switzerland County by way of rival, Rising Sun, where he spent the last five years as the Shiners' junior varsity head coach and varsity assistant.

"Extremely excited to start at a new program and build my own program. Looking forward to the challenge of rebuilding a team after losing a lot of talent. It will definitely be different wearing a new blue and a rival of the school I'm coming from. But excited to get started," Turner tells Eagle Country 99.3.

Switzerland County went 12-12 last season and graduated four seniors, including all-time leading scorer Cam Craig, Cooper Todd, Carson Griffith, and Drew Wilks.

Between the four players, they accounted for 64 percent of scoring during the 2024-25 season.
