South Ripley's Megan Cole Caps Her HS Career At State Finals

(Terre Haute, Ind.) - South Ripley’s Megan Cole carried the torch for southeastern Indiana at the IHSAA Cross Country State Finals held Saturday at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute.

Cole placed 63rd out of 208 competitors in the girls race. She completed the course in 19:30, bringing her spectacular high school cross country career to an end.

The Forth Wayne Carroll girls were the team state champs. The individual champion was Greencastle's Emma Wilson at 17:53.

The boys team state title was claimed by Carmel, with Indianapolis Cathedral's Cole Hocker the individual champ at 15:25.
