(Aurora, Ind.) – A South Dearborn High School cheerleader made her way to the Magic Kingdom this week.

Avery Wuestefeld represented her school at the Varsity Spirit Inaugural Spring Break Performance at Walt Disney World. She even made it to the front of the parade after being chosen by her instructor based on practice performance.

Wuestefeld, a senior, had to audition last fall to be a part of the event.

She was among 270 athletes from across the country that were selected to participate.

The Varsity Spirit Spring Break Performance marks a new era in the world of cheerleading and dance, offering anyone in grades 4 through 12 the chance to qualify via a short video tryout. This innovative approach allows talented performers from all corners of the country to showcase their skills and join in the excitement.
