Rising Sun Wins ORVC Softball Title; Places Five On All-Conf. Team

(Rising Sun, Ind.) – The Rising Sun Lady Shiners softball team stood above the rest in the Ohio River Valley this season.

Aside from winning the conference championship, the Lady Shiners placed a conference-high, five players on the All-ORVC Softball Team.

They are Sydney Bostic, Lindsay Montgomery, Sydney Pitts, Cora Poling and Kassidy Romans. Milan and Switzerland County were next best with three selections each.

The 2019 ORVC Mental Attitude Award went to Rising Sun’s Sydney Bostic.

Lady Shiners head coach Bryce Kendrick was named the ORVC Softball Coach of the Year.
