(Rising Sun, Ind.) – The NFL Draft is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for players and fans alike.

Rising Sun resident Rick Webster helped kickoff the 2019 NFL Draft on Thursday night in Nashville, Tennessee.

Webster, a Cincinnati Bengals season ticket holder, was chosen at random as one of 32 season ticket members around the NFL to win the “Draft Day” experience.

The sixth annual Draft Season Ticket Member Experience aims to recognize dedicated fans and give them an exclusive opportunity at the event.

Webster sure is dedicated, having been a Bengals season ticket holder for 13 years.

Prior to the draft, Webster and his wife, Juanita, had the opportunity to meet with new Bengals head coach Zac Taylor.

On Thursday, Webster walked the red carpet with NFL prospects, delivered an official New Era Draft Cap to the NFL Draft Theater and delivered a customized No. 1 Bengals jersey to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell as the Bengals pick was announced.

The Bengals selection at 11th overall ended up being Alabama offensive tackle Jonah Williams.

Williams serves as a great gift for Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton, while the draft day experience served as a great gift for the Webster’s, who will celebrate their 37th wedding anniversary in May.
