Ralston, Grote Hit 1000th Career Point Mark, Earn ORVC Weekly Honors

Southwestern's Tyler Kramer was also recognized by the conference for two great performances.

(Hanover, Ind.) – The Ohio River Valley Conference has announced its top performers for the week of November 26 through December 1.

The ORVC Girls Basketball Player of the Week is shared by Southwestern’s Abby Ralston and Shawe Memorial’s Kate Grote.

Both girls scored eclipsed the 1000 career point total as they competed against each other on November 30. In that game, Grote put up 31 points and 8 rebounds in a winning effort. Ralston tallied 16 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.

To date, Grote is the ORVC’s leading scorer at 23.6 points per game.

Southwestern star Tyler Kramer is the ORVC Boys Basketball Player of the Week. Over a two-game stretch, Kramer averaged 20.5 points, 7 rebounds and 4.5 assists. Kramer also drilled eight three-pointers over that stretch.

Kramer leads the ORVC in scoring at 18.3 points per game.
