PARIS - Mason Parris rubbed shoulders with some big names in sport and entertainment as the 2024 Summer Olympics got underway with the Opening Ceremony on Friday.

The Lawrenceburg native took a picture with NBA legend and Team USA flag bearer LeBron James as Team USA floated down the Seine River.

Parris was also seen pictured with Snoop Dogg, who was a ceremonial torchbearer for the Summer Games.

Parris is a star in his own right as a National Champion wrestler and Team USA's representative in the Men's Freestyle 125 kg, which will be contested August 9-10.

Every match from the Olympic Games will be available to stream live on Peacock. Select rounds, including the finals, will be aired on USA Network. An up-to-date broadcast schedule is available here.
